Consumer Complaint of Carrier Corporation Carrier Air Conditioners

New home purchased in Jan 2005 from Fleetwood Mobile homes, with a Carrier AC unit. Unit Caught Fire on the eve of July 15, 2008. Carrier representatives had serviced the unit on prior dates leading up to the fire. On these prior occasion they replaced burnt wires and capacitors and such. On July 16y, 2008 they swapped out the unit and charged us for labor not the unit. On February 2,2011 the unit let off a burning smell and stopped , a Carrier rep visited the site and determined a repeat event of the first unit. They returned 2 days later with parts and replaced burnt wires, capacitor and other electrical components. Again we were charged for travel and service and labor. I contacted Carried on numinous occasions and they promised to address this issue as of this date no action as been taken. The unit is now letting off a burning smell once again, smells like something electrical burning.Carrier continues to promise they will have someone contact me, they also claim I should not have been charged for any of these services but have done nothing to remedy the situation. Can someone help me as I fear this poses a threat to my family's well being and is a fire hazard.
